Less Than 30

YouTube is one of the largest video sharing sites; There are millions of videos that provide people with content such as beauty, fashion, music, fitness, and even gaming. Today's focus will be about fitness on YouTube.

Being a college student, I feel like I am always busy and on a time crunch. Trying to fit working out or even going to the gym can be a struggle and super frustrating at times, so I wanted to share with you some of my favorite at-home workouts that I get from YouTube. Maybe it's just me, but I have more motivation at home when I have to follow a trainer on the screen, compared to following a picture or notes on what to do in order to get a workout in. So if you're on a time crunch but still want to get your workout in, check these videos out that require 30 minutes or less!

POPSUGARFitness - Hip Hop Tabata

This workout is a killer and will make your sweat more than you expect it to. This workout is like no other; You get to dance and have fun, while sweating! You don't even realize you are working out, which is such a good feeling. For only 30 minutes, you definitely get a good sweat in and the reason for that is because this workout is tabata training. Tabata is a high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, which consists of four minutes of HIIT, alternating with 20 seconds of giving it your all and doing an intense move, and resting for 10 seconds, and repeating until your round is done.

Full body workouts are great for when I want to hit a little bit of everything. I believe that fitness should come with having an equal balanced physique, so I always try to incorporate a full body workout at least once a week. What I love about this workout is that you get to work on all muscle groups, while getting your heart rate up. The hardest part for me throughout this workout was doing side planks... they might just be the absolute worst.

Tone It Up - Sculpting Abs

I have been subscribed to Tone It Up since I was in high school and have loved the variety of workouts they provide. This ab workout has been one of my favorites on their channel. If I have to be honest, workout out abs is not my favorite and I will avoid it as much as I can, but having a strong core is a key item to strength training. Therefore I incorporate abs two to three times a week, along with getting a flatter stomach as a main goal for me. What I love about Tone It Up and this video in particular is that I can do this on my bedroom floor and not have to leave my apartment, which is a win-win situation for me.

Let me know your thoughts on these workouts. Feel free to send me links to some of your favorite at-home workouts as well.
