Walking With a View

If I have to be honest, I haven't been the best influence for myself. For the past three weeks, I've had a hard time prioritizing working out into my schedule. With classes going on every day, studying and reading articles continuously, formal sorority recruitment, and just balancing out my social life along with maintaining a clean environment at my apartment, it's been a tough three weeks.
Classes have been cancelled state wide for universities because of Hurricane Florence, but luckily for Boone, we will not be getting hit with the storm until closer to Sunday. With that, Boone had the most beautiful weather on Thursday and I ended up going on a walk/jog with my roommate! We went to Greenway Park and walked/jogged for almost three miles! At first, I didn't want to go at all. I wanted to stay in bed and watch Netflix for the rest of the day, but my roommate convinced me to finally get out and get active! Shoutout to her because after being active for an hour, I felt so good! It was awesome being able to see how much I could still do even after neglecting physical activity for a while.
I really hope that once school work starts to slow down and formal recruitment is over, that I can finally get back on track with working out and being active daily. I miss it and I wish that I knew how to prioritize better with my schedule! If you have any tips on prioritizing working out into a busy college schedule, let me know!
